These terms cover this website and the resident portal. They do not change your lease.
Acceptance
Hawthorne Patio Homes is a residential rental property in Leesville, Louisiana, operated by Lord Clinic, Inc. By using this website or the resident portal, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or the portal. Contact us instead at info@hawthorneph.com or (337) 208-0944.
The portal
A portal account is personal to you. You sign in with your email address, so keep that mailbox secure and do not share access with anyone who is not named on your lease. Tell us if you think someone else has reached your account.
Accuracy of information you submit
Give us accurate information, and keep your contact details current. We act on what you submit, including the phone number we text and the address we write to.
Maintenance requests
For a fire, a gas leak, a medical emergency or any other emergency, call 911 first, then call the office. The portal is not monitored around the clock, and a request filed there may not be read until the next business day.
Communications
Messages from the portal, by email or text, are courtesy communications. They are not legal notices under your lease. Notices under your lease are delivered as the lease specifies.
SMS Terms
The text message program is Hawthorne Patio Homes notifications. If you opt in, we text you about maintenance request receipts and status changes, reminders for scheduled visits, rent payment confirmations and property service updates.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact info@hawthorneph.com or (337) 208-0944. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is optional and is not a condition of any service. How we handle the number and the consent record is set out in the privacy policy.
Electronic signatures
Leases, amendments and addenda may be signed electronically through SignWell. An electronic signature has the same effect as one on paper. You may ask us for a paper copy of anything you sign, and we will provide it.
Acceptable use
Use the site and the portal for your own tenancy. Do not attempt to reach another resident's records, interfere with the service, submit anything unlawful, or upload content you have no right to share. We may suspend portal access for any of these.
Availability and changes
The site and the portal may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may change or withdraw features. If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date below.
Disclaimer and limitation
The website and the portal are provided as is. To the extent Louisiana law allows, we make no warranties about them and we are not liable for loss arising from their use, from a message that is delayed or not delivered, or from an interruption in the service. Nothing here limits any right you have under your lease or under Louisiana law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Louisiana.
